Katherine and Howard

Katherine and Howard grew up together in the same town as kids and young adults, but attended different universities. However, after years spent apart, their paths once again crossed as they settled in Atlanta for different job opportunities. Once they reconnected via mutual friends, Howard knew that Katherine was his “One”, and he proposed to her in the North Georgia mountains.

Katherine and Howard’s lovely winter wedding was one to remember. They had beautifully intricate details in the form of a lovely paper suite by Mariée Ami, and their entire reception and cocktail hour space was redesigned with touches of winter accents, and held in the immaculate Mountain Brook Club. Katherine wore a designer fur shawl to keep her warm during our portraits outside in the crisp February air, and Howard sported a classic tuxedo accented by a small pinecone boutonniere. A detail that I found exceptionally touching was the incorporation of small butterflies woven throughout Katherine and Howard’s details that represent the memory of Howard’s deceased father.

Katherine and Howard’s wedding day was unique, and intimate, and their photographs together speak volumes to the warm, kind-hearted people they both are. Wishing you all the best, Katherine and Howard!
